Cloud, AI, and the Evolution of an Engineer
With a strong foundation in Cisco contact center engineering, I’ve spent years designing, supporting, and integrating enterprise contact center solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. My background includes hands-on work with Cisco UCCE environments, system integrations, automation workflows, and application support in complex production environments.
As my interest in cloud technologies and modern application development grew, I pursued formal training in cloud platforms and AI-driven solutions. In March of this year, I earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification and completed foundational and developer-focused coursework in Amazon Connect. By April, I had designed and built an end-to-end AI-powered cloud contact center solution in Amazon Connect, combining cloud horizons, automation, and conversational AI technologies into a fully integrated environment.
Throughout my career, I’ve consistently taken the initiative to expand my technical skill set to better support the projects and systems I work on. I learned web development fundamentals—including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—to help facilitate a Cisco Finesse integration project that displayed custom dashboards and reporting metrics through a third-party application. I also studied Java and APIs to provide stronger support for custom IVR applications within Cisco UCCE environments, as well as integrations with customer CRMs and payment processing platforms.
I’m driven by a constant desire to learn, improve, and adapt to emerging technologies. Today, I’m focused on opportunities that combine my deep contact center expertise with cloud, software engineering, and AI innovation. My experience allows me to quickly understand business needs, contribute effectively, and deliver practical solutions in fast-moving environments.
